Money, permission and paper work

The Point Comfort Seafarers Center may have started as just an idea but now it is becoming a reality. Hundreds of ship visits and conversations have helped build the vision of the new center. Seemingly endless paperwork to form a non-profit corporation and solicit funding has transpired behind the smiles as we obtained permission from from the port authority to place our buildings within walking distance from the ships. 

Today we ordered the first of two portable buildings from Al's Affordable Buildings - Port Lavaca. With our money down, the work really begins.
